UPDATE:  September 2024

Now is the ideal time for preliminary ecological appraisal and surveys for invasive plants, particularly Japanese knotweed.   We are at the end of the season for bat activity/emergence surveys, but preliminary roost assessments can be undertaken any time of year.  Getting towards the end of bat survey period, but with this extraordinary weather, it may last until the end of the month.   Best time to start reptile presence / absence and badger sett surveys.
